Symptoms of Poisoning
The ingredients in antiperspirants and deodorants can irritate the stomach and intestines, and may cause an episode of vomiting or mild diarrhea. Aerosol products can cause coughing and other respiratory symptoms if inhaled.Eye Exposure
- Antiperspirants and deodorants may cause irritation if exposed to eyes.
- If your child got antiperspirant or deodorant in their eyes, rinse by pouring clean, lukewarm water across the affected eye(s) for 15 minutes.
